This magazine is for 10mm, and long loaded .40 S&W loaded longer than factory spec, and is the longest 10mm mag Tripp makes for the Government model, holding 10 rounds easily. It extends beyond the 1911 grip frame by a significant amount and WILL NOT fit the IDPA/USPSA box. This mag would still be legal for Limited 10 Division in USPSA, but not Single Stack Division in USPSA or ESP Division in IDPA.

WON'T FIT MY 1911 COLT DELTA ELITE. THOS COBRA MAG IS NOT DESIGN FOR COLT DELTA ELITE. VERY DISSAPOINTED AND DISGUSTED Response from Chuck- That is strange since the Tripp magazines fit many other 1911 model guns, even colts. Many serious competition shooters use Tripp magazines and swear by them. Not sure whats going on in your case, might give Tripp a call and they may be able to give you some guidance. The description says this magazine will extend beyond the grip so it wont be a flush fit.
