This magazine is for 10mm, and long loaded .40 S&W loaded longer than factory spec, and is the shortest 10mm mag Tripp makes for the Government model, holding 9 rounds, and the same length as a Wilson 47NX. It extends beyond the 1911 grip frame by the length of the basepad, and will easily fit the IDPA/USPSA box.
