1911 Mag Release

Great name, excellent use
It's a mag release
Great drop in part requiring no fitting. Worked perfectly to help a shooter with small hands reach the release with strong hand thumb, rather than requiring hitting the button with weak hand. Doesn't impair regular function and doesn't get in the way with regular 2 hand grip.
On most of my 1911's
Just file (shape) the rear of the paddle to your taste. I take about .200 off so my support hand doesn't hit the mag release while shooting.
Life saver
Just bought a Kimber Gold Match 2 SS and the 1st thing that I wanted to change was the mag release as I could not reach the release without "swinging" the pistol quite a lot. After some serious research, decided to get this one. It dropped right in and oh boy is it great! Well made and works smoothly in the frame. I can now reach the release without swinging the pistol much and even the mag slides in, locks and slides out much more smoothly. Nice product. High recommended.
