In addition to a lighter overall weight, the roller-delayed operating system of the JP-5™ replicates the supreme recoil management of the MP5. The result is a soft-shooting carbine with radically faster sight recovery and target indexing. Utilizing standard Glock 9mm magazines, the JP-5™ lower receiver features ambi. controls and maintains signature AR-15 ergonomics and height-over-bore. The operating system also accepts most MP5 aftermarket components. The JP-5™ is tunable in both the Silent Captured Spring buffer system and lock piece to accommodate suppressed use as well as varying barrel length and ammunition.

Bad Ass
Felt like I waited a year to get my hands on this bad boy and JP delivered as expected and blew me away with the softest shooting 9mm carbine that I've ever shot. And that's more than 10. What a pleasant surprise. I shot the new JP5 against my winning GMR15 and shaved almost 3 full seconds off the 5 stage match time. Just under 10%. Amazing pickup transitioning between targets. No pulling the muzzle down after a shot that pretty much feels like shooting a 22. Drew one heck of a crowd after the match when competitors found out I was letting people try it out. Was awesome watching the smiles walk off the line. I hope they have to wait a year for theirs so I can continue with the leg up advantage over the field. Can't believe anyone would be disappointed with this purchase even with the asking price. Perfectly manufactured product inside and out. Thanks JP and Shooters Connection.
