Great Add-on
Because I was moving to convert my Glock 17 into a more tactical style pistol I went with the Dawson Magwell which also required a change in the base pad. Change was easy and love the additional 5-6 rounds it provides. Only drawback is a desire to have a rubber sleeve around the pad or a polymer base plate to absorb the shock and prevent damage when doing a tactical reload on a hard surface
