.We took the best base pad and made it better. How you may ask ? We squeaked every bit of room there was in the USPSA 140mm mag gauge with this baby. It still has our great DP TOOL-LESS design stretched as long as we could. Tests have given us as many as 21 rounds in 40 cal. starting with 22 in the pistol, and we could speed reload with 20 in the mag. Be aware S.N.L. stands for "sometimes not legal" due to variations in mag bodies, so check your mag before the big match.
Actual results depend on your individual magazine and use of a follower suitable for the application. Max is 21 but expect 20 without mag tuning. Also COLORS are variable in shading. Anodizing is not exact and shades can change from batch to batch. Be aware of that when trying to match older pads with newer ones.
Not recommended for 9mm or 38 super. If you cram the last round in it can cause the follwoer or rounds to go below the bottom of ribs in the mag(STI only). For 9mm/38 use the regular +1 pad. THe SNL is meant for 40 in limited division.
The SNL pads are sold as a may need to fit product. If you do not want to fit then do not buy the 4mm for 140mm mags in LIMITED and 170mm in OPEN. The SNL takes up all the room allowed by the rules and due to variable tolerances of the mag tubes they may not fit the gauge and need to be fit.
