A larger diameter guide rod means more weight out underneath the barrel for a more controlled recoil stroke. this is also a place where having a single-stage spring benefits you because one spring is going to have a consistent recoil pulse, whereas a multistage system can recoil differently with every shot. because each round is going to engage the “spring stages” slightly differently. This stainless steel guide rod assembly is Designed for the TP9 series of handguns with a 4.46-4.50-inch unthreaded barrel. this recoil spring guide rod assembly is uncaptured.
