The Joey Sauerland (JGFS) “No Rest” slide stop for 2011 frame. Provides indexing point for the thumb and prevents slide riding with the support hand thumb for those who do not use a thumb rest.
Made like a slide-stop thumb rest, but with a flat face that keeps your thumb from rubbing the slide in recoil, and gives you the indexing point of a thumb rest.
After dry firing my way to Grandmaster, I started doing some live fire practice, and quickly realized that, for me, the gun will always recoil, all a thumb rest does is make the sights move sideways, and less predictably.
