The latest innovative competitive shooting belt from DAA is the DAA Premium belt. This belt offers the best of two worlds! The extreme rigidity of the DAA Competition belt and the high quality finish and outlook of the DAA PRO model.
Both the Competition and PRO belts have been widely received in recent years, and each has their loyal followers. Some choosing the Competition belt if they view rigidity as the most critical feature while others choose the improved appearance and quality feel of the PRO belt. DAA decided – why force our customers to compromise? Why not offer the best of both belts – in one? Result – The DAA Premium Belt
Shooters Connection makes this strong disclaimer on the DAA belt. It is oversized and designed that way purposely. Do not buy this belt without understanding that it can or will be difficult to get some if not all accessories onto. We will not accept any responsibility for it fitting your accessories. Saul has provided his reasoning in a statement at the end of the description. So i suggest not buying this belt without knowing what you are buying.
Double-Alpha Academy is proud to present the new Double-Alpha Competition belt. This new Inner & Outer shooting belt offers the best features for serious competition shooters.
The inner belt is designed streamlined and slim-profiled to prevent it from adding too much thickness under the outer belt. This helps to ensure you wear your gear close to your body in the most comfortable way. The inner belt is pointed at one end to facilitate easy threading through pant loops. Of course the inner belt carries the soft Velcro layer to prevent it from snagging on clothing or car seats when worn separately.
The outer belt is simply the strongest and stiffest belt on the market today, bar none!
It is constructed of a tough web nylon outer, covering a fiber reinforced polymer core which gives the belt its impressive rigidity.
We designed the belt to be slightly thicker than most others, so that the holsters and pouches mounted on the belt will sit firmly in place and will not rock or slide around. This makes it slightly harder to thread some makes of holsters and pouches, but all types of gear will fit.
From Saul on his belts.
Regarding the width of the belt: As I told you before - this was not a mistake, and not something I plan to "fix" or change. the belt is PURPOSELY made 1.5mm wider than the CR dimension is. we do this, so that the holsters and pouches sit rock solid and do not rock around on the belt. Yes, I am aware that it makes fitting the gear onto the belt harder, but, I believe this is the better choice. You may have to struggle a little ONCE to fit your gear onto the belt, but after that, you have a better performing set up. I too have had one or two complaints, but no returns. ALL types of gear I am aware of can be fitted onto our belt! Without modification to the belt of gear. in fact, in my display I have one belt on which we mount a GR, CR speed, Hoppner and Scheman and Ghost holster and pouches. and ALL fit.
Available in sizes from 28”–50”.
How to select the correct belt size: (do not select based on your pant size!)
1. Measure you actual waist circumference at the height where you plan to wear your belt.
2. Order the belt size which matches your measurement. Round upwards: if you measured 39”, order a belt size 40”.

Extremely sturdy
DAA belts are extremely sturdy. I have had mine for 5 years and just recently bought a new one, but only because the inner wasn't as sticky, and I could use a larger size to fit all the gear. When shopping for a belt, I prefer going up to a 36 (get over the shame of the added inches to my waist circumference). This way I will have plenty more stick. I like to have at least 4, if not 6-8 inches left over to work with, after installing the holster, pouches, and magnet. Definitely something to consider, going a size up.
Great Upgrade
Stiffest belt I own. Better than my Black Scorpion which is a really good belt. All my gear stays tightly in place.
