Magwell vs original basepads

The fit and finish of the magwell was great, installation was a breeze .... unfortunately none of the 12, 10 shot magazines with original basepads would seat properly. I would have to shave .0800 - 0.100 off of each base (top) in order for the magazine to seat against the Carver interior frame/ support. I thought about removing some material off the bottom of the frame well but that would alter the front strap profile not allowing the magwell to " hook" the front strap. I bought this hoping, I would not need to replace all original basepads. I already have the Floyd's competition magwell but the basepads were on backorder .... guess I'll have to wait. Apart from that, delivery and service was excellent, especially as I am from Canada and ITAR can be a problem for us. I'll let you know how the Carver Dual port comp installs when my KKM barrel arrives. Will be ordering again...SOON , Shane

This is an AWESOME Magwell! Yes, I had to do some trimming on/with it. But, with a plastic frame (modular- [real bad design, S&W]), one has no choice. The magwell is set & secure, with no issues. Magazines, load & flow with no issues. I've trimmed the inside ramp, for an even smoother feed of my mags. Bobby Carver,....you did, GREAT! SC,...Thanks for your availability, at the ready, and quick shipping. You've got me, for life. Now,...to go get these bad guys, the police are afraid of..👍👌

Top notch product just like everything else they offer. My M&P looks like a Carver advertisement gun lol. All I need now is a Carver go fast shirt. If your thinking about products they have just go for it. Well packed and fast ship.

Very cool product, the instructions were actually helpful and they even included an allen wrench. I've only put a couple of mags through the gun since I installed the magwell but I already love it. Good price and fast shipping from SC. 10/10 would buy again.
