The new Quinn II C-More mount turns your C-More 90 degrees and places it so close to the slide you will be able to switch back forth from limited and production with very little change in your index. This mount will work on most guns including the “Shorty” guns and guns with “Hybrid” barrels. You need a rearward mount for both of those type guns or you will have issues with blast eating your C-More lens. The Quinn II, being the lowest on the market, will shoot flat from 10ft to 25yds with as little as a half inch difference at point of impact through that distance. Also, you are, less likely, to put a round through a prop since the slide and dot are so close to one another. No more grazing a barrel and getting a Mike. Also, there is no reason to “hold over” close targets anymore.
This mount was made by an Open shooter for Open shooters, as you can see by the slot in the bottom of the mount; all adjustments can be made without removing the slide or the use of “special tools.” Since the mount is on its’ side, windage becomes elevation and visa versa. This makes the mount as easy to sight as a standard mount.
The ejection port is completely clear which makes tuning the ejection much easier because you don’t have the mount hanging over the ejection port. This allows you to run mixed head stamp brass and shoot the brass for longer without worries about how it will eject.
The mount comes with a C-More plus two mounting hole configuration. Meaning it has the three standard C-More holes plus two more spaced the same distance as the others. Five Stainless Steel mounting screws will be included, but they will have to be ground flush to make sure they don’t contact the slide.
