Disclaimer- I use this holster myself for STI. I often shoot 2 different STI guns at a local match so it works good for me. BUT , this holster is such a precise fit it can be some work to get it adjusted and fit to your gun. If you have grips that have been modified it may not work for you. Especially if the front of the trigger guard has been modified. I suggest you watch the videos and be willing to do the fitting or even replace your modified STI grip to get it to work. We will not take these back once they have been fit or adjusted. If there is a warranty issue DAA will handle that directly. So please order with caution. They are great but take some fine tuning to your individual gun sometimes. Chuck Bradley

Designed by Saul Kirsch, and with valuable input from Angus Hobdell, more than 30 years of top-level competition experience contributed to its design. After nearly two years in development, we can say with confidence that this is indeed the next stage in competition holster evolution. Try one, and we are sure you will agree!

We set out to develop a new holster with the following goals in mind:

• To offer the best and most advanced release system on the market

• To offer a wide range of position adjustments – and to hold those settings rock solid

• To offer both a fully locked safety feature and tension adjustment capabilities

• To allow the user to change from one gun type to another without having to buy a complete new holster

• To look sharper and cooler than any other race holster out there

The blocks do work in both the right and left hand models.

Double Alpha Race Master Holster

This is the best available holster in the market for competition. However it can and should be improved.The area between the front of the insert block assembly and the holster body has to be smoothed out. It scrapes the gun damaging bluing.The inner area of the support arm that makes contact with your pants has to have its corners rounded and smoothed out. This area bites into your pants and tears them. All this being said this holster is fast and very secure. It is a darn pitty that it was not put out for testing so that these small imperfections could have been fixed in its design.

Response- I was talking to a fellow shooter who got one of the first models and we compared mine to his. Mine does not have the sharp edge to cut your pants, the arm does not let the body drop down that far any longer.
